Sex Toy Review: The Electric Penis Pump from Bestvibe

The Electric Penis Pump from Bestvibe

In the past I have dealt with cheap penis pumps that I would try a few times and eventually lose interest in.  Although they gave me erections, I would deflate as soon as I removed the air pressure.  I do know that cock rings are important to keep the penis full, but for me, I just wasn’t interested in keeping an erect penis held together by a rubber band.  I have never been big on cock rings or anything of that nature.

Make sure you research and find out exactly how penis pumps are designed to work

However, Bestvibe has sent me a cool pump that does everything automatically.  In the  past, I would use a pump like I was blowing up a bike tire.  Pump, pump, pump, pump.  As my penis fills the tube, the pain gradually gets worse, I stop, and look at how huge my penis is inside the tube.  It looked amazing.  However, Venice and I can’t touch it, can’t use it, can’t do anything with it other than go, “Wow, I bet that would feel good if it didn’t look like it was in a penis museum!”

This penis pump didn’t change any of that!  LOL.

However, the process is neat and if I used penis pumps, I would probably stick to this one.  I love the idea of it being automatic.  Although I was a bit intimidated by the idea that the battery would go dead or it would just malfunction as it was pumping and I would never be able to take this thing off!   The horror of it pumping until… it couldn’t pump anymore.

Rest assure, that didn’t happen and this thing performed exactly the way it was supposed to perform.  As an added bonus, the tube has a ruler on the side of it so you and your partner can see your exact measurements.  This may intimate some men, but I love this feature.  In fact, that’s probably the coolest thing about this pump.  For the record, the ruler and length of the tube is exactly 8.5 inches.  If you are bigger than 8.5 inches, this penis pump isn’t for you.

The biggest problem I had with this thing was the fact it pumps so well it felt like it was going to pull my balls up through the hole!   Oh no!  So make sure when you use your penis pump you are careful to not put too much air pressure.

Also, this penis pump comes without air tubes.  For those men who used to pump in the 90s, you know how sometimes your pump looked like a mini fish aquarium with various tubes and air pressure monitors.  This has none of that.  Just a cylinder and the digital pump on the top of the device.  I love that.  It also comes with two sleeves that you place on the bottom of the tube which helps with the penis pump only pumping your penis, and not your crotch.

Another cool thing about this pump is that everything is digital.   It has multiple functions and a quick release button the will immediately release the air pressure.  Depending on how you hit the buttons, you can have the air pressure stop and just hold your penis pressure exactly how you want it.   This device also is rechargeable via USB.  This is always a good feature to have with your sex toys.

There are great places online to ask others about penis pumping.  Make sure you do your research and figure out if pumping is something you want to try.

How to use a penis pump.

  • Place the penis pump tube over your flaccid or semi erect penis.  You may need to use lubrication to slide your penis into the sleeve that restricts air flow.  A lot of penis pumps have a tube, but also a sleeve that has a smaller hole.  This helps keep the pump strictly on your penis and not your crotch area.
  • Lubricant will also possibly help avoid any irritation
  • Turn on the pump or manually use the pump to create a vacuum inside the tube. If you are using the electric pump describes in this review, please use the pump prior and learn the controls.  It is important to know which buttons quickly release the air pressure.
  • Follow the manufacturer or your doctor’s instructions on controlling the air pressure inside the tube. Don’t allow the pressure to exceed 4.5 inches of mercury because you can damage your penis.
  • Use a dry penis pump for no more than 10 minutes, especially when you are a beginner. At that time, release the pressure and allow blood to flow to the penis.
  • Remove the cylinder and massage your penis. Repeat this cycle three to five time for no more than 15 minutes.
  • After removing the penis pump cylinder, you can use a penis ring (aka, cock ring) to help maintain your erection for intercourse. Never leave a penis ring on for more than 30 minutes.

Helpful tips with using your penis pump.

  • Begin slowly and don’t over pump. Overzealous pumping can damage your penile tissue and won’t result in any “bigger” or faster results
  • Take breaks. With a dry pump, release the air pressure every 10 to 15 minutes, with each break lasting 3 to 5 minutes. During breaks, massage or stretch your penis to improve blood flow.
  • Beginners should use a penis pump two to three times a week and then gradually increase to once daily if desired
  • Some men shave their pubic hair to help ensure a tighter seal on the cylinder against the body
  • Massage your penis after each pumping session
